L'Afrique, c'est chic

Lodges in the heart of nature or on the shores of a lake, urban boutique hotel: Africa is the destination to follow…

Because air and soul breathe authenticity. Because from lush jungle to savannah, nature maintains its sumptuously wild dominion. Because all one needs, of course, is to have the right address book. Speaking of which, discover Tselana Travel, an agency whose catalogue of lodges and hotels is an ode to good taste. At its head, Marie-Louise Moineau, an inspired—and informed—traveller, who knows the continent like the palm of her hand and only believes in what she’s seen.

The luxury travel artisan

On her return to France, this Lebanese woman needed an excuse to get back to Africa, where she had lived for several years. In love with the bush, a travel addict, Marie-Louise Moineau decided to create Tselana Travel.

« I had observed how the tour operators worked, and a lot of things about organised tours bothered me…whenever friends came to visit us in Africa, I arranged a dream trip for them.” She had found her idea. Tselana was born. The principle: « organise only tailor-made trips, not just improved ready-made.” No pre-organised programs. All planned according to the client’s  personality. (…) No two trips are alike, but the same pleasure and care are always put into their preparation.

Although her specialty remains Africa, the bush and the lodges, Marie-Louise has opened up to the rest of the world. “We can’t know everything, but we can feel things.” She has a sixth sense.
